Privacy Policy 

1. Purpose and Scope

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets forth the principles and practices by which Ruhsh Logistics, a division of Logical Links Corp. (“Ruhsh Logistics,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, retains, discloses, and protects Personal Information in the course of providing courier, medical supply delivery, and e-commerce delivery services (collectively, the “Services”).

This Policy is intended to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), together with any substantially similar provincial privacy legislation applicable in Canada.

By engaging our Services or using our website, you (“you,” “your,” or “the Client”) consent to the terms of this Policy.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this Policy:

“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual, including but not limited to name, address, email, telephone number, payment data, or delivery information.

“Sensitive Information” refers to Personal Information that, if disclosed, could reasonably result in harm to an individual (e.g., medical-related delivery details).

“Processing” means any operation performed on Personal Information, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, and disposal.

3. Principles of Fair Information Handling

Ruhsh Logistics adheres to the ten Fair Information Principles established under PIPEDA:

  • Accountability — Ruhsh Logistics is responsible for Personal Information under its control and designates a Privacy Officer to ensure compliance.

  • Identifying Purposes — The purposes for which information is collected are identified before or at the time of collection.

  • Consent — Knowledge and consent are obtained for the collection, use, or disclosure of Personal Information, except where inappropriate.

  • Limiting Collection — Information collected shall be limited to what is necessary for the identified purposes.

  • Limiting Use, Disclosure, and Retention — Personal Information shall not be used or disclosed for purposes other than those identified, except with consent or as required by law.

  • Accuracy — Personal Information shall be as accurate, complete, and up to date as necessary for its intended purpose.

  • Safeguards — Personal Information shall be protected by appropriate security safeguards.

  • Openness — Ruhsh Logistics makes readily available to individuals specific information about its policies and practices relating to Personal Information.

  • Individual Access — Upon request, individuals shall be informed of the existence, use, and disclosure of their Personal Information and be given access to that information.

  • Challenging Compliance — Individuals may challenge Ruhsh Logistics’ compliance through our designated Privacy Officer.

4. Collection of Personal Information

Ruhsh Logistics collects Personal Information only as reasonably required for the operation of its Services, including:

  • Client and recipient contact information;

  • Delivery details and instructions;

  • Payment and billing information;

  • Technical and analytical data (e.g., browser type, IP address, website activity);

  • Correspondence records between Ruhsh Logistics and the Client.

No unnecessary or unrelated information is collected.

5. Use of Personal Information

Personal Information may be used for the following purposes:

  • To establish and manage client accounts;

  • To process, fulfill, and confirm delivery orders;

  • To communicate updates, notices, and confirmations;

  • To ensure compliance with applicable transportation and safety laws;

  • To improve operational performance, website functionality, and client experience;

  • To comply with statutory and regulatory obligations.

Ruhsh Logistics does not sell, rent, or trade Personal Information under any circumstance.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

Ruhsh Logistics may disclose Personal Information only in the following instances:
(a) To authorized employees, contractors, or agents who require access to perform operational functions;
(b) To third-party service providers (e.g., payment processors, logistics partners) who are contractually bound to maintain confidentiality and data security;
(c) To regulatory or law enforcement authorities where disclosure is required or authorized by law;
(d) To third parties in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, provided such parties agree to maintain equivalent privacy protections.

7. International Data Transfer

Where Ruhsh Logistics uses third-party systems or service providers located outside of Canada, Personal Information may be processed in jurisdictions with different privacy laws. In such cases, Ruhsh Logistics ensures that appropriate contractual and technical safeguards are in place to protect Personal Information consistent with Canadian legal requirements.

8. Data Retention and Disposal

Ruhsh Logistics retains Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected or as required by law. Once retention is no longer necessary, information is securely deleted, anonymized, or destroyed in a manner consistent with recognized data disposal standards.

9. Security Measures

Ruhsh Logistics employs administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information under its control, including encryption, restricted access, and secure storage procedures.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, no electronic system is entirely secure, and Ruhsh Logistics cannot guarantee absolute protection of data transmitted electronically.

10. Access and Correction Rights

Upon written request, individuals may access their Personal Information held by Ruhsh Logistics, subject to verification of identity and applicable legal exceptions.

11. Withdrawal of Consent

Individuals may withdraw consent for the use of their Personal Information, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. Such withdrawal may affect Ruhsh Logistics’ ability to provide ongoing Services.

12. Updates to This Policy

Ruhsh Logistics reserves the right to amend or update this Policy at its sole discretion and without prior notice. The most current version will be posted on our official website, and the “Effective Date” will be revised accordingly.

13. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
